Sunday Worship

10am 19 April 2020

Welcome to Worship at Home, 19 April 2020!

It's great you could join us in this way. We yearn for the day when we can gather physically as church family. Until then, this is one of the ways we will continue to praise God and encourage one another.

(Note: If you don't have a paid YouTube account, some videos might play ads. You can usually skip it after 5 seconds by clicking on Skip button on the screen.)

If you have used this Worship @ Home page, Tim would love to hear from you. Please use the feedback form at the bottom of this page to let him know. Thank you.

Also, feel free to join in our virtual morning tea via zoom before and after the service. Please check your emails or contact Tim for details.

How to prepare

  1. It's always a good idea to have a bible handy, and have the main bible passage for today, Mark 2:1–12.

  2. Just as at church, we encourage children to be engaged as much as possible since worship is for everyone regardless of their age. Time to time, however, we will include certain elements more geared towards children. Also, if you are here early (or returned here afterwards!), check out these colouring-in pages and a craft for children. These may help children to engage with today's bible passage and remember lessons.

  3. If you're joining us on Sunday at 9:45am for a short catch up via zoom, we'll be praying together before beginning. If you're by yourself, it's also a good idea to pray for the right heart and listening ears before you begin.

Questions for this week:

  1. In what ways are you tempted to deal with your own sins, rather than confessing them to God?

  2. Whom have you been praying for so they may come to Jesus and be forgiven of their sins? Whom will you start praying for?
